Power is a more useful number. The largest are about 6 MW (million watts), typical is more like 1-2 MW.
1 MW is 1 MJ/sec (million joules per second) with joules being a unit of energy. So 1 MW produces 1 MJ of energy every second.
Another unit of energy is kW-hour, kilowatt-hour, and 1 MW produces 1000 kW-hours every hour.
